The list on this page will eventually include links to each of the content ‘spreads’ of the book, including the verbal content, at least some of the graphics and other related extra links.

For now… here is the essay that introduces the book in the ‘Foreward’

“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth.”

King Solomon of Israel, 900 BC

“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?  Declare, if thou hast understanding.”
God to Job in Arabia, 2,000 BC

“Hast thou not known?  Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?  There is no searching of his understanding.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

The prophet Isaiah to Israel, 712 BC

The Rest of the Story

No matter what you discover or the amount of study you put into analyzing it, there is always more to learn about anything.  That’s why some brilliant students never take the risk of writing a book.  Because much of what is presented here is seldom or never seen by the general public, it’s natural to be skeptical.  That’s why the reader is constantly challenged to think for himself and check things out.  Don’t choose to believe or disbelieve just because of reports you heard from others, even if they were respected sources.  Ask them where they got their opinions on the subject.  Do your own homework.  And when you discover something to be true that you thought was false, muster the courage to communicate what you’ve learned to those you care about.  Some of the discoveries discussed here provoke disagreeing opinions, even among respected leaders.  It would be nice if we could have absolute knowledge about things, but when it comes to interpreting natural discoveries there will always be challenges to our conclusions.  Thus, it’s wise to be appropriately tentative and open to more input as you wrestle with the observations of the physical universe.  When it comes to the unseen realm, we have to be even more cautious.  Deception has spoiled so many lives.  But that doesn’t mean we should be agnostic about everything.  Don’t be afraid to keep your mind open within the limits of clear absolutes.  And don’t forget to show patience with those who haven’t climbed to your particular level of knowledge… The climb ahead will be vastly more surprising.

 Preface

“Come let us reason together,” says the Lord God Jehovah through the prophet Isaiah 700 years before Christ.  It’s clear this will involve some thinking on our part.  In our day, when political correctness and “sound bite” oversimplification has greatly “dumbed down” the general public, YOU are to be commended for picking up a book like this.  Let me warn you: the information you’re about to discover will not only be fascinating for you, it will also thrust you into a controversy or at least lively conversation with virtually everyone you touch.

Until recently, the popular reports of the debate over origins have blacked out and confused the scientific and historical facts about both creation and naturalism.  Respectable sounding narrators distort the truth according to the warped atheism or paganism of the intellectual elite.  We all need to be reminded to consider the presuppositions of those we are hearing.  Do they ignore the power and concern of the Living Creator?  Do they esteem the authoritativeness of the Book of all books or dismiss it as irrelevant religion?  Are they accepting other “supernatural” excuses like “aliens” and “cosmic consciousness” rather than give credit to the miraculous power of the Redeemer of lost mankind?

This book is just an introduction to the vast subject of origins.  It is intended to lay a foundation based on what the Creator has instilled in every human being: the ability to respond to truth.  Is our heart, as well as our mind, open to hear from God and respond to His Word?  Many of us have been so “secularized” that we are amazed when we find that the Creator has actually communicated to mankind through a miraculously conceived and preserved book: the Bible.  But when we discover that truth, we begin to see everything in life differently.  The deceptions become glaring.  Many mysteries start to unfold.  Life takes on significance, and eternity becomes more real.

Approach this material from the outset with a desire to discover the truth.  Think logically with your mind and willingly with your heart.  As you do I am confident the experience will be life changing.  Parents may want to walk their children through the many pages of discovery, encouraging discussion and supplemental reading along the way.  Be sure to make use of the many specialty books and tapes recommended for deeper study.  When the Bible becomes your foundation for understanding the world around you, everything starts to make more sense.  May this be a stepping-stone to your discovery of the wonderful Lord of Life, who himself is the One with the key to unlock the mysteries of creation.
